Day One

Day One: Friday
We drove to Death Valley, which is a very un-helpful national park, and it took us quite a while to figure out where we were going to go. We came in from the opposite direction than the original plan, and most of the trails are unmarked and hard to find. We finally decided on Fall Canyon and set off on our first adventure with 50+ lbs of water, 2 lbs of dates, and a water filter - not very well planned out that first adventure, but it was still fun. We unpacked about 2 miles in, set up camp, and had sushi for dinner - yummy!
