Wheezer's Birthday

 

Hello, I am Wheezer and today is my birthday!  

Although I am a dog, I woke up this morning and KNEW today was my day - I was extra nice to everyone and super friendly all day because I knew presents were coming when I got home. 

I did a lot of new things this year such as. . .

 Backpacking

 

Crossing Rivers

 Exploring Mountains

 I got my first rain jacket which makes me look super awesome...Wheezer the Wonder Dog!

I slept outside in the rain on my first multi-day camping trip.

 I had hiker's exhaustion after a long hike back to the car and slept in the car.

 I climbed several 12 and 13 thousand footers and needed a nap or two at the top.

 I channeled my inner house elf.

 I got tired a lot, especially after obedience classes.

 I took many, many road trips all over the country.

 I had my first trip to Oregon to see my Jaymer.

 I chased some vultures and rolled in dead things.

 I got new pink booties. I LOVE them.

 I was Cheesecake Mouse from Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween. Complete with blue ears.

 The shame made me go hide.

 Then I turned into a board and slept some more.

 I got a football for my birthday and. . .

 . . .hoarded it with my new bone.

 I drove the car.

 I helped a friend overcome her fear of dogs. I was the first dog she walked.

 I spent a lot of time at work looking out the windows.

 Sometimes I filled in for the secretary.

 Then I'd come home and. . .sleep some more.

 I got my first Mohawk haircut.

 I flew to Colorado for vacation and spent a lot of time in other airports too.

 I love my travel bag.

I slept in lots of strangers houses and in many hotels. 

All in all it was a very good year. 

Don't make fun of Jenica to much, she can't help it she comes home from work and talks to me like I'm 2 years old when CLEARLY I'm 5 now.
