Joshua Tree

This weekend, Wendy and I had quite the adventure. We went to church in Banning. Poor church is 20 old people and basically it's dying. Then we went to James's rugby game, which was really interesting - we'd never been to a rugby game before - and they won. After that we went to Joshua Tree (which I had been planning all week and had EVERYTHING ready), but I didn't remember to bring any other shoes...so I had to wear my boots that I wore to church. This didn't work out so well so half the time I carried my boots and just climbed rocks in my socks. :D
Wendy had never been "rock climbing" before. She was a little nervous because she's afraid of heights, but she did really good. At the end of the day she was the one climbing and I watched from the bottom - for obvious reasons. We stayed till the stars came out and had a nice little sundown worship service, just for us. We also saw the longest shooting star ever. Very nice day.
