Sabbath morning we woke up in to this pretty sunrise. Dad preached at church, and then we went up to Owl Creek Pass and found a campsite. First we got stuck in the mud, and in a heroic attempt to save the day and push us out of the mud...I got covered in cow pies, from head to toe. So I had to improvise using a backpacking cover for a rain jacket, since mine was all wet and dirty. The rain stopped for a bit, so we hiked up Courthouse mountain, the trail was so slick and muddy that mom and I held sticks in our hands on the way down, so that if we fell we could have some sort of anchor so that we wouldn't slide all the way down the mountain.
