Today was a hard day. Woke up very, very sad that my Mom and Kathy left me yesterday. However, it turned out to be a great day. Spent most of the day at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. It's gorgeous. I think I like it better than the Grand Canyon, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. I didn't do much hiking today though because I had a goal. Complete Biology class lesson and study Biology. So I found myself a very nice view and rock, sat myself down and studied - while taking frequent photo breaks to entertain myself. 
I had planned on staying the whole day and watching the sunset but, there were rain clouds encircling me from all directions and the clouds kept building and growing darker over my head, so I decided to save my explorations and extensive hiking for tomorrow night after work - if it's not raining. :D Yes, there is proof that I do eat an occasional power bar (there you go Mom and Kathy, I fulfilled my lost bet).
